Set priorities on what you have to do each day

Before each workday begins, spend 5-10 minutes looking through your to-do list. Check 5 items which are identified as urgent and important tasks. Prioritise these tasks to be completed by the end of the day. This provides a boost in your sense of urgency and need for efficiency.

Break down a challenge into multiple, smaller tasks

During any work day, you are sure to face challenges. Instead of being put off by the challenge, break it down into multiple smaller tasks, and take baby steps to overcome them. This allows you to track your progress and shift your focus from the scary big picture.

Write a gratitude journal entry each day

At the end of each day, write down 1 to 3 things that you are thankful for that day. It can be an achievement at work or any realisation in life. This reinforces your self-worth and frames an your mind towards the positive spectrum as the day ends.
